I can relate. I live in Iowa and it gets VERY cold and snowy in Iowa.

My dogs will "Get busy" faster outside when they go out. For that I am grateful because it is darn cold. They handle it well if it s 15-32 degrees F. Once it gets colder my little male will hobble. He can't go as far and I have to watch him because I need to go get him after he gets busy. Keep a sweater on them when they go outside. Remember, our babies have hair like we do and some are thicker than others. If you went outside without a coat on and just a thin layer of hair you would be cold too!

I know some people use giggie booties. I have not done that yet because they are quick to go out and get back in. When it is snowy we "snow blow" a path or maze in the back yard so they don't have to go far into the snow.

Good luck. Keep her warm!!!!
