  Bo is the same age and weight as your baby.  Granted, most people that buy a Yorkie are expecting a very small dog, but I don't consider a 10-12 pound dog average either.  My miniature Schnauzer is 8 years old is at his ideal weight at 25 pounds.  So, obviously will be a big difference in size between them when Bo is full grown.  I expect Bo to weigh 10 pounds at maturity, which is double his 12 week weight.  Several breeders on the forum use this guideline as an estimation of full-grown weight.  I wouldn't trade Bo for any other pup in the world!  |
