I would take it slow with transitioning her to have full reign of the house. Izzy only gets part of my apartment when i'm home.. block off all bedrooms. She's in her crate if we are gone longer than 30 mins to 1 hour, otherwise she's in the same space as when we are home. we'd love to let her have free reign when we are home, but she potties in the bedrooms if we dont watch her. We've let her have reign and we've cleaned the carpets plenty of times due to that. shes 3 years old but weve had her since may. don't know if it'll help, but she needs to learn that you are the boss and you decide when she gets to go all over. i've learned that a crate is a safe place for dogs and they actually like it... ha!!!
