I agree, I wouldn't either. I only paid $600 for my first yorkie puppy. Most of the times, the breeders I know that rehome them sell them very reasonable, they just want them to have good homes. My sister used to breed, and all her original breeders are with her still as pets. Think she realized after 3=4 years she couldn't part with the mom dogs, as she had a hard time wanting to part with her pups
