This cotton/silky coat, green/red eyed thing confuses me so much... all I know is I love my puppies no matter what their coat is!
I do believe Chip has a cottony coat. He doesn't mat, but it's kind of wavy and coarse-ish feeling (soft, but not silky), and not as shiny. Chip's eyes usually show up in pictures brown/black but sometimes red. Smokey I believe is silky. He used to matt really bad when he was a baby, but now that he's all grown up his hair is perfectly straight, never matts, silky smooth, and really shiny. Smokey's shows up green/yellow in pictures.
