No nesacarily. the GSD breeder I know, Sells them for about 500 dollars. That incluses ALL needles, Spay/nueter (Around heere its almost 300 dollars to S/N a dog). Not to mention all the breeder dogs are champions, and are from champion bloodlines. So they are worth alot more then that. You have to remember all of the money that has went into the dog over the years. And Most reputable breeders dont make much money off pups if they are doing it right.
