i have always said it hurts me more to have to rehome my retired girls that it does when my babies leave. i cry for days. sometimes weeks. I am thinking right now of rehoming a two year old girl that has only had one litter. She is a terrible mother and tried to kill her babies BUT she is so spoiled by myself and my hubby, I don't know if we have the heart to do it. These are very hard choices to have to make and I always feel that no one will give my dogs the good care I do. I don't trust anyone to take care of them. I am not thinking of myself and being selfish but thinking of my precious girls having to adjust to life without me in it. but my dogs stay in my house and not kennels. We get very attached to all of them. |
