I am not sure how I feel about it. I wonder if the breeders are more into the breeding than the emotional part. I am not saying they are. But to have an animal for 5 years and just be able to adopt them out says maybe they don't get too close. I acutally adopted a Purebred Osicat once he retired from showing at about 5 years of age. And I could tell they really care about him. I know if he ever needed a home they would take him back immediatly. Actually that is part of the contract. Maybe breeders just know how to cope.
