I reread my post, and I feel like I should have added that I am not passing judgment at all. I am actually looking for another dog and this time I want to adopt an older Yorkie that is in need of a home (which is actually what I had wanted to do in the first place lol), which is how the topic came up. Rehoming a retired breeder pup seems understandable to me as long as the breeder works to find it a good home. I am hoping that this info will make my mother feel better about it. Please keep sharing your thoughts about it.
