Will an air tight container say it's air tight? I always thought any plastic container that had a lid was air tight but I'm a bimbo, so.
I guess not, because the one I had sure wasn't. I do have 2 that are air tight though. One cost me $50, but, it's fantastic. It has a plastic ring around it, then you turn the lid until it's tight. It holds like 40 pounds of food, which is usually how we buy ours. Does the bag you bought have a strip across it to seal it to keep the air out? If so, you should be able to use that if you're buying a bag about once a month. You're not a bimbo..!
