I just noticed they can get your email account from your profile page. You may want to go to user CP and change this, so that your email account will be kept private. They aren't allowed to use Yorkietalk's private messaging service to recruit you to the new site, but they are allowed to ask for you e-mail address, or get it off your page, and recruit you that way.
