Cocoa is 11 weeks old and weighed 1.25 pounds when we got her. I think I'm gonna go ahead and give some more of the Albon since diahrea is a symptom of coccidia. She has seemed a little bit active this afternoon. Thanks for your replies. |
ALso, since she is not feeling well , she will want to sleep more. Bring in a stool sample when you go to the vet . The vaccines should not still make her tired after two weeks.
You ned to keep in close contact with your vet as well, because she is so young and tiny. Keep up with the meds and offer her food at all times. Make sure she can eat, and be cautios of low blood sugar. Also she needs to be drinking fresh water too , becasue of the threat of dehydration, especially if she is having diahrea. there is no vomiting? correct ? I hope their is someone who can be with Cocoa at all times to keep A close eye on her.
