If so, please enlighten me...my baby is almost 7 months old and she doesn't like to have things in her hair and always manages to remove them. She just about gave me a heart attack b/c I thought she swallowed her barrette but I found it after the fact, thank God!
hehe thanks so much! actually my BOYS leave the ponytails, clips, bows, etc in without fussing at them at all!!! my GIRL on the other hand is the best behaved while putting the ponytail in, but always feels the need to "fix" it herself as soon as i am done LOL ... she used to always pull her ponytail(s) out until i started using the fabric covered elastics (found at wal mart in the baby section)...i think the regular latex elastics bothered her because she leaves the new ones alone 50% of the time

Funny story; Every morning when we all get up I put Gracie Ruths hair up and put Yogi's collar with his bell on him. Lately Boo has been getting right into the middle of everything while I'm trying to do this. It dawned on me that perhaps he wanted some 'special Momma attention' too. So the other morning I put his hair up also. He jumped down off the bed and strutted around with his head and tail held high. DH came out of the bathroom and started saying something when I told him, just look at how proud he is to have his very own topknot. Yogi was desperately trying to reach it to pull it out, but Boo kept his head up and Yogi couldn't reach it. DH started laughing at how Boo was acting and said he could keep it in until Boo rubbed it out. It stayed in all day!! But to keep DH happy I didn't put it in again the next day. But now after doing G's hair and Yogi's collar, I stroke Boo's head for a few seconds, give him a kiss and tell him how very, very handsome he is and that seems to satisfy his need for 'special Momma attention'.
i love the "antlers" too...my BF/fiance was not a fan at first LOL but i kept saying how cute he looked...the story about boo is so cute i bet he looked soooo handsome!
