I am sure you already know, but in case not (and in case this is helpful to others) that he still needs to be on a restricted diet and supplements. Even though he had surgery to repair his shunt, it doesn't mean he is free and clear. He could shoot another shunt at some point in his life time, so that's why it is important to keep him on a special diet and supplements and have his bile acids tested often to keep an eye on his liver function. Not sure if you are familiar with the Yahoo Group for Liver Disease or not, but it is a great support group with lots of helpful information and lots of Liver Shunt Survivors. He's been eating Wellness Chicken kibble & Wellness Chicken and Sweet Potato... No, I don't know what his last BAT was, but I could call the vet on Monday to find out.
