I'm sorry to hear your puppy has LP, my Sophie has it too. She has stage 2 and you can't really tell until you examine her. I agree that surgery should be done when absolutely necessary. I have heard a lot about arthritis later on in their life. I would recommend adding supplements, as these can't hurt. I would also recommend that you try to prevent any accidents that may make this worse. Just make sure Sushi doesn't jump off the couch and be careful if you have hard wood floors, or tile.
