My random thing:

We had a bird trapped in our fireplace right above the floo. It had been there since yesterday making a lot of racket, so we figured it was stuck. We held a blanket over the front and open the floo. Well the blanket fell and the bird was loose in the house. The dogs went nuts!! My son was screaming. The bird kept flying into the windows. (It was a starling.) Finally, I was able to trap it in the laundry room and open the door to outside. As soon as it felt the breeze it was gone. It's an hour later and the dogs are still looking for it.
