Don't they have double strength or maybe not in the capsules?
Ellie can't have beef either, so we use the capsules but she doesn't need 500mg and she only gets the 250mg every other day.
If it really isn't going to work for you, two other products that seem to be right up there are Glycoflex and SynoviG3. I would opt for Cosequin first though.
