I would think that she was not been properly socialized with kids.
I let him toss treats at her from a distance only and not up close and personal.
I work with her when out walking just calmyl going by kids.
Kids are strange they are squeally fast moving jerky scary creatures to a little dog.
Feeding her supper is a great idea but only after her comfort level is such she can sit nice and at least attemped goo manners.
