I never use EPT, I use the cheap dollar store ones. The ones they use there that are the diskette that you have to put 3 drops of urine in, detect the lowest HCG amount of any test. Not to mention they are much cheaper! The first response early result are AWEFUL. with my 5th I had taken a dollar store one, that was super faint. So I thought I would get a First Response early one (like $15!) and it didn't show anything! Next day I took a dollar store one and it was barely darker. I went to the doc that day for a blood draw and I was pregnant! Don't waste your money on expensive tests. If you are anything like me you might end up taking 10 before the week is done.
As long as the light line showed up before the 10 minutes, I would consider it positive. I am sure you have taken enough tests in the past if you have been TTC for awhile to know the difference in a condensation line and a +.
You should take a pic of the test and post it!
