With their 10 year/100,000 miles warranty they are trying to gain the confidence of car buyers. Although my son has had no real problems with his and it's 3 years old and 120,000 miles (he drives alot!)

Another company nicety is each time my son has had to have maintenance done, a company representative calls here asking about his experience, was he satisfied, any comments on their service, etc.

Also, during the economic crisis Hyundai Finance is making an attempt to help those who have recently bought their cars and have lost their jobs. I don't know of any other car mfg. doing something like that!

I love ours, and being a sports car driver, I wasn't ready to be impressed~

Hyundai Santa Fe: Safe, Stylish SUVs - IIHS' Top Safety Pick | Hyundai

ETA: the do have two sizes V-6.

That one got very good ratings too!
