It really gets worse too as they get older. Another sign of dominance is that they will try to sleep at the highest point of the bed, for example on a pillow, above your head; this should be discouraged as well. Your yorkie will be happier and better adjusted, if he understands that he isn't the boss, and that you both are. Other training will become easier too.
