I had two before I got my first Yorkie. One was liver & white springer spaniel, the other english springer spaniel black and white. They lived 17 & 18 yrs. They are smart, loving, and everything else that is good. I still miss them terribly. In fact that is one reason I chose yorkies, I didnt want the same breed, it would have been to heartbreaking for me.
