I hate to hear that this has happened. Thank heavens it seems it has a wonderful new mom to help. I am by far not an expert but I did alot of reading up before our we bred our lil girl and we just had the experience of having to handfeed our litter. I would recommend at this age to mix the puppy formula with wetfood, then wean onto wetfood only, then slowly mix in dry with the wet and finally dry only. Keep water available. I think the puppy will need plenty of interaction with you since you are replacing the mom and littermates all at once. The 10-12 weeks was not only because of teat weaning but also mom and litter companionship weaning, this was a vital time for behavior learning from its littermates and the mom. I hope this helps. Good luck with your new baby
