Hi, we take ours with us to Oregon and Denver several times a year. He is really good in the car as long as we stop to potty and play for awhile. I try to give him time after meals to rest before we hit the road. Denver is about a 2 day trip each way and Oregon is usually 12-14 hours which we split up in 2 days. There are lots of hotels that now allow pets. good luck and have a safe trip.
