I have asthma and severe allergies. When I first got my boy Buttons I had a hard time breathing. I made sure to wash everything he came home with. I was his bedding and bathe him weekly. I haven't had any problems since and its been 3 years. I know that when I take him for a walk in this cold weather my asthma really kicks in but, its from the cold not him. Good luck.
