In my experince house training puppies is a looooong, labourious, often disheartening process! I have never actually pad trained a pup, I prefer them to go outside, but it is a challenge whether or not they begin off on pads or grass, belive me! lol

I'd suggest whenever you anticipate your pup needs to go just take him/her outside and wait. Wait and wait. Eventually they will do their business. Once they do praise, praise, praise! It may take a little while but it'll be worth it in the end.

I remember when I was trying to house train my Chihuahua puppy it was March and still absolutely freezing, snowing in fact, and I just knew I had to make this tiny little creature go outside to go potty! Nightmare! Sometimes we'd be stood there in the cold for 30 minutes before she decided to pee but she's got it now! Plus, I managed to develop a trigger word to get her to go: 'Quickly, hurry up!' I didn't mean to, I just kept saying it cos I was shivering and wanted to get back inside, but now when I say that she knows to pee/poop! lol

Good luck, let us all know how it goes?
