Ok so problem number one is that 8 weeks is way too young for the breeder to let you take the puppy. The standard is 12 weeks. Did you purchase the same type of food the breeder used.

When I took my Sophie home she didn't want to eat either. It can be a big shock for the little ones when they are taken from their mommy and litter mates.

Some tips I can give you is:

-Soften Dry food for warm water.
-Add some cottage cheese to it to entice him.
-If that doesnt work try a high grade wet food mixed with dry.

Lastly...Hypoglycimia can be a life threatening issue with Yorkies especially very small ones. Make sure you look for signs as this can be brought on by not eating.

Make sure to give Nutracal or Karo Syrup when your pup hasnt eaten
