[Baby Blessing]

Connie, Thank you first of all for beginning my birthday with your phone call, then I find this wonderful thread which you started, appreciate each and everyone posting to it Thank you Connie and everyone.

I want to quote with you all about the incident with my birthday cake that I shared with Kay last night, oh my gosh, that happening sure was a frantic few minutes. We were getting ready to leave to meet our friends for a luncheon, and I told several I was bringing a carrot cake.

The cake turned out great but as I was ready to leave, it went flying out of my arm in the dining room and landed upside down in the tupperware cake carrier, oh my did I feel panic, thought it was totaled, turned out all the coconut on the cream cheese frosting top and sides gave it a cushioning, LOL. Never ever in all my days have I had anything like that happen. Everyone (16 people) really enjoyed the cake,the others showed up late after it was all gone. It was a very enjoyable time with everyone.

What a blessing friends are. I couldn't have had a nicer day. Thank you again everyone, Connie sending you a great big hug and Jack said, " be sure to send one for me too. "

Thank you again for this heart warming thread, my 71 st Birthday, how very blessed I have been in my life.
