It happens to me a lot...and since Pao was a pup, he has separation anxiety other than that he is a perfect dog. Now I just practice the no touch, no talk, no eye contact, 15 minutes before leaving the house and I ask hubby to do the same. Its hard coz he sits on my leg while I am trying to change or just jumping all over me asking to be picked up so that he can come along. When I do bring him out, I usually change him into outdoor clothing and carry him in to the car so he knows once I don't pick him up, he doesn't get to go and boy oh boy he doesn't like not getting to go out with us or being left home alone. Also, I am home a lot so it doesn't help when I need to go out just for a little while.
