Rocky has the worst case of Separation Anxiety which is what i believe it's called. Once i have my coat on he goes and lays in front of the door when i grab the handle to open it he goes nuts! He barks uncontrolably and he will even try and bite my pant if he can.

I dont look him in the eye i give him my back and that dosent work. I tried a water bottle and spraying him but what am i doing with the water bottle taking it with me ? that didnt last long

I also tried putting coins in a empty can and rattling it again im not going to put a can with coins in my purse with me besides he still barked.

2 days ago i noticed when i was leaving he was his usual self and barked at me i live in a apt building we have a doorbell right on the door. So when i closed the door i rang the bell once and i noticed he stopped barking. So i dont know if that's a trick that works but for now im content.

I would like to find something that i can do so that i dont have to go through a obstacle course when i need to go somewhere where i cant take him.
