I like them being manipulative coz it cracks me up. I usually do not like my dog jumping all over strangers and asking to be picked up by strangers either and sometimes I carry him in my arms so that other people do not pick him up and run away with him
BUT he found a new way to manipulate me. He coughs and hacks and acts like he is choked until I put him on the ground and then right away he stopped coughing/hacking/choking! I was like maybe it is a coincidence but it has already happened a few times so I know he is just doing it so that I will put him down. Sometimes I really wonder what is the small little brain thinking of..how could they come up with so many tricks?
