OMG those are so funny! Last weekend my daughter was buying incense (yes- she was born in the wrong decade
). She was buying a box but also picked up a single that was listed as 5 for a $1.00 to try a new fragrance. When she got to the cash register the girl said, you only want this one? They're 5 for a dollar. My daughter said yes, just the one please. The girl looked panicked and then ran across the store to get a calculator.
Neither of us realized she couldn't figure out the price at first or we would have helped her. Math is not my subject so I really try to be understanding about things like that but oh my goodness- it was so funny!
