This is my first time to post. Joined just a few days ago.

Right now I am in the minority here, I see...LOL

We do not yet have our Yorkie. In fact it will be several months before we ask our vet to recommend a breeder for us...perhaps almost a year.

I have tied my getting a Yorkie to losing 100 pounds! I cannot wait...it is truly the best motivator I have ever had.

As for now, my husband and I are both reading and researching (and I'm buying things...LOL). We have already learned quite a bit about our breed-to-be.

We are both retired and have no children/grandchildren to spoil so I am looking so forward to having a Yorkie to focus on. I say I'm not going to spoil her rotten but that will probably remain to be seen...LOL

Thanks for the welcome. I truly expect to learn alot from all of you in the coming months...preparing our home for our Yorkie.

(By the way, TOY is the nick I use on another board and in no way associated with our Yorkie-to-be.)
