yes definitely a d-ring is a MUST . . if anyone has a knitted sweater they absolutely adore that has a hole or a d-ring attached, please post here so I can see what it looks like and perhaps share with my source
I love everyone's ideas . . .although I might not have the budget to accomodate all right away , this just means I can add to my collection slowly depending on how well received they will be.
