I think you're right. My Lexie, who's already a teapot, pouts and whines for her treats. She'll plant herself by the pantry door where her goodies are kept and whine until she's sprawled out on the floor huffing and puffing, literally throwing a tantrum like a child. Dh and I had been giving in at first because we thought it was so funny and cute but. . .she's already 16 lbs! Standing second to food for Lex are her toys, so I started distracting her from with extra, vigorous playtime. And this has worked. But she had a relapse the other night at bedtime. All nights were out, daddy, mommy, Glory, and Molly tucked in bed. Where's Lexie. . .downstairs in the dark in the kitchen sitting by the table where a little cookie was left!
