You are very sweet to care about what happens to the groomer. Yes, she is human, and humans make mistakes.
But please tell me that you were reimbursed for the grooming session and that the office manager was fired for the way she treated you. At least she should have sincerely apologized for her attitude! It was unprofessional, and hateful, to say the least.
