Petzlife is one of those products that may or may not work for your dog. Obviously, it's not working with your dog. Sammy used to vomit in the morning and I changed both her food AND started using the spray instead of the gel and the vomiting has stopped but I don't know what stopped it. It's possible that because our smaller pups are so small (Sam is 6lbs) that we are possibly using too much of the product? Plus she thrashes around and probably swallows most of it rather than letting it sit on her teeth for a while. Loki didn't have a problem. I've also found that just BRUSHING is helpful (with water) although their breath is so much better with the Petzlife.

I worry about the ingredients in the alternatives and I'm not a fan of the poultry breath

CET toothpaste: Sorbitol, Purified Water, Dicalcium Phosphate Anyhydrous, Hydrated Silica, Glycerin, Poultry Digest, Dextrose, Xanthan Gum, Titanium Dioxide, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Thiocyanate, Glucose Oxidase (Aspergillus niger) and Lactoperoxidase.

Doesn't that sound yummy? You don't HAVE to use a toothpaste. Just brushing is going to help. Plus, even though I do brush their teeth at least weekly they still had to get dentals last summer. Yet the neighbor's dog is older than Loki and he has perfectly white teeth and trust me, they do NOT brush his teeth. Again, depends on the dog.
