We've always believed in being a free and open community as we can help the most Yorkies and Yorkie parents that way. We do offer some perks for our Donating Members, but asking questions, posting pictures, and just participating is absolutely free for everyone as long as they adhere to the YorkieTalk Rules & Guidelines.
The YorkieTalk Team will do everything in our power to make sure YorkieTalk stays around and functional for all of our members and for all Yorkshire Terrier parents and for those that are new to the Yorkie breed. Our goal here has always been to educate, learn, and share our Yorkie experiences with one another and to provide a positive, fun, friendly, and helpful community.
If there are any problems with the site or YorkieTalk (be it financial or technical), we will try to let all of our members know. We do not anticipate any problems, but please do remember that YorkieTalk is completely supported by member donations and with a few ads. With our continuous growth, the costs do continue to rise as well, as server costs, hosting fees, database backups, bandwidth considerations, software fees, and server administration costs go up with our growth. We will continue to remain a free community and an open community. |
Thank you, Administration, for sharing your reasons for beginning YorkieTalk. It is comforting to know, that you were also Yorkie Owner Newbies in the beginning of this great site.
I very much appreciate this wonderful community and all the work that goes into maintaining such a great place. We have made plenty of friends here, in the short time we have been members, and have also learned a ton of new information. We plan on contributing annually, to help with continuous costs. Thanks again for your hard work.
