ARGGGH
She still has'nt been for surgery and she has been NIL by mouth for over 24 hours!!! She's starving!!! To top it off she is suffering from morning sickness and the only thing that really helps is to eat little and often so she is feeling even worse because of that! The problem is that they are sooo busy, there were literally hundreds of people admitted the same day as my sister due to accidents on the ice and the staff are working really hard to see to everyone. Surgery is going on through the night but she was told she was a priority, I mean theres only so long you can starve a pregnant woman!!! But she could be called to surgery anytime so they need to keep her NIL by mouth! Obviously the surgery is important,its just adding to her misery and pain to be starving and sick on top of it all. She is putting a brave face on and laughing and joking but last night when the tea trolly came round she asked us to draw the curtains round her bed and I could see how much she is suffering
I just can't wait til its all over and she's home.
