Your vet should have calcium supplements - Pet-Cal is one brand. I give my females some of this (usually 1/2 tablet a day) when they are pregnant and nursing. Absorption is always a problem with Calcium. I also give a tablespoon of cottage cheese to my dogs every day. But I have to say, I have a puppy that is 4 months and I am fighting to keep the tips of her ears up too right now. So, I'm not sure the extra calcium is a total answer. Good luck.
