also, my baby's ears still are not standing up right. They sometimes pop up but just for a second, how can i get them to stand up without taping them? You can try shaving the hair off so that they're lighter and massage them a couple of times a day to get the blood flowing.
is it true that male dogs will gain a bunch of weight after they are neutered? My friends yorkie was neutered at 8 months (7 lbs) and after that he doubled his weight (14 lbs!) It is true that a dog's metabolism slows down after they are spayed/neutered but the weight gain is totally in your control! You can exercise them more and lower the calorie intake. Of course, at 8 months, your friend's dog was still growing. He was most likely destined to be 14lbs all all along! Dogs won't GROW bigger because they were spayed or neutered but they may put on a couple of pounds if you don't watch them. |
Makes sense. right now i just leave food out for him, but after he is neutered i want to control his intake any how. I dont want an over weight pooch! thanks for the input
