I usually tell Rudy it's time to go night night and he follows me to the bedroom. Then we have to play tug for a few minutes and then he curls up in his bed which is on mine. Sometimes I'll wake up and he has moved to the area behind my legs all snuggled up. I love my lil bed buddy.
