One of the first ingredients after water is grain alcohol.
Since only a small amount of Petzlife is used, it may be just fine and alcohol is added to some things to brin out affects of other ingredients but there is some concern that it could be toxic, especially in such small dogs. There is a board certified dog dentist in the NY area who told one of YT's members that it could make a Yorkie drunk. Too much alcohol can lead to very serious issues. Now that probably wouldn't happen with the small amount used daily but a few of us have decided that it isn't worth the risk. Petzlife also says there are no reported side effects which may be true. Maybe nobody has told them about the stomach upset that a few dogs have gotten from it...
