Talk to your vet about making payments...or use a credit card. The lab work should not be that much. A CBC (Complete Blood Count) is a relatively low cost test, and you should get the results back quickly, it's very common. Lymph nodes sometimes never do go back to the original size once enlarged due to infection. A vet NEEDS to examine his testicle, this may be normal although there are lymph nodes in the groin area as well as the neck. Check his axilla(armpits) for any lumps too. Please do this for your dog and for your peace of mind. I wish him well!!!
