In the cold winter - we found that Bailey regressed in this area too. When its cold she likes to go poop in the dining room ( a room that we don't use).

She's done it three times this year. Its not a matter of training - because she knows better; its a matter of convenience for her. So, we've learned to manage the situation. The baby gate stays up until she's had her bm for the day. Afterwards, it comes down and she has free run of the house.
