My Sophie was spayed on December 23rd and now fully healed and can resume regular doggy activities. I must say I have an amazing Vet and her staff - they love my dog as much as I do.
I had Sophie spayed while I was boarding her for the holidays with the confidence that the Vet staff would take excellent care of her. I called them daily and they called me the minute she was out of surgery.
My advice is if you stair steps carry the puppies up the stairs. Also I got baby wipes and used them to give her a sponge bath (sort of). I helped her feel fresh (I think) and sure made her smell all baby soft.
