I have never bought Nylabones. I wasn't sure if they were safe or not. I had heard many different stories , so I decided I just wouldn't start....just in case.
Sydney ( non YOrkie) can destroy even the best of bones. I would never give her the non edible nylabones knowing she
would destroy it and eat it . I use to give her rawhide bones (before I found out how dangerous it could be) and she could tear up a 8-10 inch rawhide in two days flat it was shredded ...gone !
and she is only a 10 lb. dog ! So needless to say ...she
loves to chew.
Chloe is small (2.5 lbs) so I don't think she should do much damage to a nylabone, but I won't chance it.
I gave them Kongs ( super strong for Syd) and they seem to like it. I do watch Syd and when she is no longer trying to get the treat out and she starts focusing on destroying it , I take it away
I give her the biggest Jumbones/ busybones. I know they are filler and crap ...but I would rather her eat that than plastic and rubber till I can find a good alternative.
