I absolutely believe that. I swear Eddie goes deaf when he's on the trail of something else. That's exactly what happened in the office. My co-workers were teasing me because he wouldn't come to me, and I've been bragging up his obedience school lessons. Then he smelled my hand and went ballistic. Of course, I passed it off as odor training!
