I would not leave a vet over what a tech said.
If you trust your vet and you don't like the techs, ignore them.
If they are putting your dog in harm's way, report them to the vet.
Maybe she just didn't think through what she said.
It was uncalled for as it would be in a human doctors office but if you like the dr. enough, it shouldn't make you want to leave...

I also don't thinking loving Yorkies or not loving Yorkies has anything to do with a good vet or vet tech. I have no idea if Ellie's vet even likes Yorkies at all but she is good and Ellie is treated like all of her other patients I'm sure. There are breeds that I don't like at all but I don't think that means I shouldn't be able to work with dogs, etc.
