I had my sister use it because I think most of the side effect are from the nicotine withdrawal (that you're not supposed to have) rather than from the med. I also think the many benefits from stopping smoking outweighed any potential side effects. Anything that gets people to quit is awesome in my book! |
I quit with Chantix and I agree with the first 3 statements although my dreams weren't horrible just strange and really vivid. It wasn't pleasant but it did the job for me and the side effects were worth it. My mom had to stop taking because it was causing depression and the suicides linked to Chantix are really scarey. I didn't have that side effect thank goodness. If you take it just pay special attention to your emotional state. Good luck!
